We are in our 24th week. Dawn posted some belly pictures of her growing belly.
The baby is sure is getting big! This week we have started seeing him be able to kick hard enough to make Mom's belly jump visibly from the outside. Dad can feel him move when he feels the belly, too.
The doctor had Dawn do the glucose tolerance test this week. A little earlier than usual, because Dawn's fasting blood sugars have been higher than her doctor would like for pregnancy. They should be in the 80's and she has had some in the 90's and a couple in the low 100's. We'll get the test results on Monday. We'll let you know, but we're not too worried.Comments:Alex & Kim: We liked looking at the baby pictures again. Your belly is really cute, we are looking forward to feeling litte Robbie too. Alex wants to tell him, Hello and he has advice ready for him. Right now he would advise little Robbie to try his hardest not to get hurt when playing and to pay attention when he gets on his bike. Does he have a bike? He said he will think of more boy to boy advise later and let us know. Grow stong little Robbie!!Grandmama Myers: Dawn, your "big belly" is a beautiful sight! Keep on growing! We want a big, healthy boy. You look so pretty in your red sweater. Your face is glowing! May God continue to bless. Love you both, I mean all three!Add a comment:

Kitty is treading on thin ice around here lately. Dawn thought the last straw was waking her up every hour starting at 4 am last week. Nope! Finding him in the crib was the absolute last straw! He was curled up all cozy and warm in the baby's crib last night. That is NOT o.k. Not only do you not mess with a pregnant woman and her sleep (when she can get it) but you don't mess with baby's stuff, either! Anyone want a cat?
Comments:Molly: OOOOHHHH! Beware cat jealousy! Our cat, Lewis, was our "baby" til Laura was born! Then he started pooping ONLY in Laura's crib! NOT a good thing. He had to go!Add a comment:

Rob has started referring to Little Robbie as the "3.0" version to come. I'm feeling him moving at regular intervals now and Rob (version 2.0) has even felt him move once. The doctor said today that we are both right on track with growth and weight gain. During my appointment we noticed that my belly was lopsided. He was sitting mostly on the right side and we could tell! So cool!
Today's appointment was the first day I've spilled sugar in my urine, but the doctor is not too concerned yet. It doesn't necessarily mean I'll end up with diabetes. I'll watch my sugar intake from now on, though. We are doing the glucose tolerance test in 4 weeks when I go back. That will determine whether I'm getting to be diabetic or not. I can always check my urine for sugar at work anytime I want to, as well and let my doctor know if it continues.
I've started having some minor back and shoulder pains for the last week. I've continued regular chiropractor treatments which help and I've also been swimming at the gym on my days off. The weightlessness of the water is wonderful! I'm leaving in about 10 minutes for my first prenatal massage and I'm so excited!
My next doctor's appointment is Feb 6 and then I'll go every two weeks after that. We sure are moving along! We have registered for prenatal classes and the last 3 months will keep us busy. We'll have 5 Wednesday night classes of childbirth preparation classes starting in March. We'll go to a breastfeeding prep class and pediatric CPR class and Rob has a "Daddy's Toolbox" class scheduled. I think the last trimester is going to go so fast! There seems to be so much to do, still. I'm so glad the nursery is already done. On top of all this our basement remodel should start in the next few upcoming weeks and they tell us it should take about 4 weeks to complete.
May will be here before we know it! Stay tuned...Comments:Grandmama Myers: Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift! I know this refers to Jesus, but a baby is also a gift from God!!!! So glad everything is going so well. Little Rrobbie 3.0 must already love sweets! Take care of yourself pretty little Mama. Much love to you, Rob and #3:)Add a comment:

Happy New Year! We are so excited for this year! Check out our Nursery Picture Album. We added three new pictures. We bought a crib mattress and have "dressed" the bed for little Robbie to come.
We stayed home and rented movies and had a nice and quiet New Year's Eve. Today we spent some time registering at Target. There are still a few things to add, but we've gotten a lot done.
We wish you all a very happy 2009!Comments:Auntie Bessie: Happy New Year to you both. What a great way to
spend it....fixing up the nursery!! I LOVE the
crib and the colors.Grandma: Oh Dawn & Rob, You even have the name. I think its wonderful. Everything is just right for Robbie. I know it must be hard to wait. Love, GrandmaAdd a comment:
