  Robbie is three weeks old and growing so fast! He's almost out of newborn clothes now since he's put on more than two pounds since he came home from the hospital. He weighs over 8.5 pounds now. He has such bright eyes and has some very alert wakeful periods during the day (and sometimes at night.) He loves to sleep on our chest and snuggle. He also raises his head to look at you when you hold him. Mommy and Daddy have both caught him smiling at them...and we insist it wasn't gas!
  
  Rob's mom has been visiting this week from South Carolina and has been such a huge help in cooking meals and caring for Robbie while Momma and Daddy try to get some rest. She will be missed when she leaves on Monday! Rob has one more week off of work. After June 8th it'll be just Robbie and Mommy during the days, trying to fit into some sort of routine.

  Aunt Bessie:  Grandma Pete has told me about the bright-eyed
  baby and how she is going to miss him when she
  goes home Monday. Make good use of her while
  she is there. When she is gone, you will be all
  alone. I know she has enjoyed herself immensely.
